Chief Rick Hanson and the Calgary Police Service’s Professional Standard Section would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 2009 Professional Standards Conference. Our purpose is to gather Investigator’s and related professionals from throughout Canada to discuss current trends, case studies, relevant issues & legislation, surrounding misconduct and accountability in our respective areas. The 2009 Professional Standards Conference is being held in “The Heart of the West”, Calgary, Alberta. Famous for the Calgary Stampede and its booming economic development, Calgary is the gateway to the beautiful Canadian Rockies.
